I don't understand

We are so excellent in finding the problems of others rather than our own. I think we got it all wrong when J Krishnamurti said “to go inside, we have to start from outside. To go far, we have to start from near”.

  1. Sorry, but what is wrong about this? I assumed J. Krishnamurti says that you see your relationships the same way you see a mirror. The mirror reflects what you are, and so does the mirror. So, to understand ourselves, we don't have to sit in a dark room with eyes blindfolded and ears plugged, but see what happens when we interact with people and places. That is what I thought he meant by 'to go inside, we have to start from outside'- Am I wrong in this?

  2. Your understanding of JK's teaching is correct. I'm very glad that someone who has felt JK has read this.

What I meant is we need not be finding the problems of others.

    Thanks.
